v2.4 CURRENT PROTOCOLREST

PDF Editor

PDF Editor makes the documents you upload readable, searchable and shareable. It extracts the text of scanned pages with OCR, redacts personal data irreversibly in line with KVKK and GDPR, and exports the result as JSON, DOCX or PDF. All of it runs through a single API, on your team's shared credit balance.

The Typical Flow

A document always goes through the same four stages: upload, processing (OCR if needed), redaction and export. When the upload is done and the text has been extracted, the document.processed webhook event is sent, and when redaction finishes, document.redacted is sent; so you do not need to poll for long documents.

Pricing

OCR costs $0.01 per page and redaction $0.005 per page. OCR does not run, and is not billed, on digital PDFs that already have a text layer. Export is free.

PDF Editor does not cover redacted text with a black box, it removes it from the document. If you need to keep the original file, store a copy in your own system before redacting.
