HOW IT'S BUILT & HOW IT WORKS
Process summaryOur user brought a simple need: "Bring the line-item table of a scanned invoice into Excel row by row as item · qty · unit price · VAT, and warn me if the total does not add up."
The path we are reviewing: straighten and sharpen the page first, find the table rules and columns, then read every cell on its own. Line totals and VAT are recalculated and compared with the total at the bottom of the invoice; an invoice that does not add up is flagged before it reaches Excel.

Our PDF editor already reads tables on pages that carry text. A scanned page has none, so it has to be read from the image first. Send us around twenty sample invoices and we will measure what holds up.

Sent. The key condition: a misread figure must not slip silently into Excel. If the total does not add up, we want to know.
